BOVET x AHMED SEDDIQI 75TH LIMITED EDITION
A SEVEN PIECE TRIBUTE TO 75 YEARS OF HOROLOGY
To mark 75 years of watchmaking partnerships, BOVET has created a dedicated interpretation of its newest world timer, the Recital 30. Limited to seven pieces, this edition reflects both the region’s place in global horology and the shared history between the House of BOVET and Ahmed Seddiqi.
A WORLD TIMER WITH A NEW PERSPECTIVE
The Recital 30 is a new timepiece built around BOVET’s world-time roller system, a mechanism six years in development. Adapted from the award-winning Recital 28, it allows the wearer to display all 24 time zones accurately across the four seasonal time changes, a solution to a long-standing challenge created by Daylight Saving Time variations around the globe.
The rollers form the core of the watch, nearly covering the full dial, with a central day–night indicator linked to local time. Setting the watch is intentionally simple. The upper pusher advances the rollers, and the lower pusher adjusts the central 24-hour display.
A LIMITED EDITION FOR THE REGION
For this anniversary tribute, BOVET incorporates details that speak directly to Ahmed Seddiqi and the UAE. Dubai appears in Arabic and is highlighted in red on the city roller, while the surrounding colours reference the UAE flag. The guilloché around the day–night indicator is finished in Dubai Green, paired with either a matching rubber strap or a full-skin alligator option. Each of the seven pieces carries its own identity through Eastern Arabic numerals on the world-time dial, with the same numeral and the 75-year logo printed on the rotor.
SHAPED BY CRAFT AND INNOVATION
The Recital 30 represents BOVET’s continued study of celestial and terrestrial timekeeping. Its creation follows a line of technical milestones, including the Recital 18, Recital 20 Asterium, Recital 22 Grand Recital, Recital 26 Chapter One and Two, and the Recital 28, each one contributing to the evolution of this world-time solution.
It also marks a new chapter for the brand as the first Recital to feature a case fully manufactured in-house at BOVET’s facility in Tramelan. The titanium versions of the case are now crafted entirely by BOVET’s artisans for closer control over precision, finishing and construction.
